The Almost Heaven BBQ Bash is one of West Virginia’s most sizzling summer celebrations, held each June in Jawbone Park in downtown Buckhannon. This free-admission festival brings together top-ranked Kansas City Barbecue Society teams from across the country to compete in chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket cook-offs, while a variety of food vendors serve up delicious BBQ and other favorites.
